Plant Tours:
Weber Metals - Paramount, California
Located in Paramount, California, Weber Metals is a member of the OTTO FUCHS Group and a manufacturer of aluminum and titanium forgings for demanding aerospace applications. With roots dating to the 1940s, the company has grown from a scrap metal business into an advanced forging operation serving customers around the world. Its capabilities include open-die and closed-die forging, engineered hand forgings, and large monolithic components designed to deliver strength while reducing weight. A standout feature of the facility is its 60,000-ton hydraulic forging press, which enables the production of exceptionally large, complex aerospace structures. These single-piece forgings can replace assemblies made from multiple components, reducing connection points and simplifying assembly. The plant tour offers an opportunity to learn about the scale, engineering and manufacturing technology behind high-performance forgings used in critical aerospace applications.
Aluminum Precision Products - Santa Ana, California
Headquartered in Santa Ana, California, Aluminum Precision Products (APP) beings more than 60 years of experience to the manufacture of aluminum forgings for aerospace, defense, automotive and industrial applications. The company offers conventional and precision closed-die forgings, open-die forgings, forged wheels and pistons. Its vertically integrated approach connects engineering and tooling with forging, machining and assembly to produce components that meet demanding performance requirements. APP;s manufacturing capabilities are supported by in-house die production, metal-flow simulation, CNC machining, heat treatment and extensive inspection and metallurgical testing. These resources help control dimensional accuracy. material properties and product consistency throughout productions. The plant tour offers an opportunity to learn how precision forging and integrated manufacturing processes work together to produce strong, lightweight components for a wide range of end users.
Plant Tour Requirements: Safety shoes are required. Additional required protective equipment will be provided.
Please note: The plant tour facilities reserves the right to refuse admittance to their facilities. The facilities will have the opportunity to review the list of attendees prior to the event.
