It was imperative for us to align with a firm like Mehlman Castagnetti Rosen & Thomas so we can strengthen our industry presence in Washington D.C., says FIA Chairman Willard T. Members of FIA’s Public Policy Committee met with the new lobby firm on February 6 in its Washington D.C. office to begin planning for the year and develop the agenda for FIA Lobby Day, taking place on April 9-10, 2019, at host hotel Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill. “We had a great first meeting with the firm and jump-started the process of learning about the forging industry’s legislative agenda,” said FIA President and CEO Jim Warren."
