Katlyn Stratis has joined FIA as senior manager of events. In her role, Katlyn will be responsible for the development and execution of all meetings, workshops and conferences including FIA’s Annual and Fall Meetings. She also will act as FIA's staff liaison to the Plant Engineering Committee.
Katlyn comes to FIA with more than seven years of program management and event planning experience. From 2011- 2017, Katlyn served as the lead meeting manager for Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), the full-service, trade association representing more than 850 stamping, fabricating, spinning, slide forming and roll forming companies in North America.
Katlyn earned a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Kent State University in 2011, and she received a Certified Meeting Planner designation in 2015.
Lorean Crowder is FIA’s new executive assistant. In this position, Lorean will assist the executive staff, perform administrative tasks, provide event support and answer and direct phone calls to help members reach the appropriate person on the FIA team.
Prior to FIA, Lorean served as a senior administrative assistant for Tradeshow Multimedia, Inc. There, she was responsible for working with customers and vendors to execute graphics for trade shows and events. She also helped to develop printed promotional materials for marketing purposes. In addition, Lorean performed clerical duties that included billing and invoicing.
Lorean is a graduate of Wilmington College where she received a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
