Safety professionals from Weber Metals, an aerospace manufacturing company in Paramount, California will share their case studies of going through the processes and successfully implementing environmental and safety certifications. The presenters are happy to answer any questions and encourage discussion/interaction during this 90 minute webinar.

Queen Uchekwe, Environmental Compliance Manager
Queen is responsible for Environmental Compliance at Weber Metals Inc., an aerospace manufacturing company in Southern California. In her role, she manages Weber’s ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification and was instrumental in developing Weber’s Integrated Management System. She works closely with production and engineering to implement department specific best practices that ensures Weber’s operations remains environmentally sustainable. She received her undergrad in Chemical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach and MBA from Pepperdine University. She also has a Socially, Environmentally, and Ethically Responsible (SEER) Business Strategy certificate from Pepperdine University.
Salvador Roman, Manager of Safety and Security
Sal Roman is the Manager of Safety and Security at Weber Metals Inc., an aerospace forging company in Paramount, CA. In 2010 he began his career at Weber in the Die Forge operations department working his way up to Supervisor and transitioning into the role of Safety Specialist in 2013. Since shifting into his Safety role, Sal has continued his advancement to Manager assuming responsibility for facility Security. He has implemented several safety improvements including emergency response initiatives and department-specific, behavior-based safety awareness. Sal and his team continue to grow in size and responsibility while partnering with operations and engineering groups to design best practices to keep the employees working safely and securely.
