2023 FIA Canada Lobby Day & Advisory Committee Meeting

Event Date: Wednesday, May 31, 2023 to Thursday, June 1, 2023

Our brand new FIA Canada Advisory Committee will meet for the first time in-person since its conception! On May 31, 2023 at 9 a.m. EDT, the committee will meet at Cassidy Levy Kent to discuss barriers to the industry and opportunities where the government can help. Then, FIA will host its first-ever Canada Lobby Day on June 1, 2023 to meet with Parliament to educate and address issues facing the forging industry. We are excited to spread our advocacy efforts throughout North America.

     •   EVERY SINGLE MEMBER VOICE MATTERS! Lobby Day is critical for establishing contact with lawmakers to get them to visit our plants and get more invested in our success and survival

In partnership with FIA's contracted Canadian lobby firm (Global Public Affairs), we will be organizing meetings with key members of the House of Commons, Senate and Ministries. This partnership allows FIA to expand its reach in Canada immensely.

Cancellations will be permitted until May 17, 2023 and will be refunded in full. After May 17, 2023 no refunds will be given, but substitutions are allowed if submitted to FIA in writing.
